Savanna Dreams by Kate Lower – Night Blooms

Savanna Dreams is the first collection by Kate Lower for Cloud 9 Fabrics. She is a designer and illustrator from Brooklyn and expressed her design philosophy like this, “Each of my designs is created with the intention of cultivating happiness through a natural, organic response to color and balance.” I like her already. I think we all want to cultivate happiness and these pretty prints do a great job. I love the mix of playful imagery and the bright and cheerful colour palette.

Spark – Some of the prints are really spectacularly bold and beautiful and would make excellent garment choices (like Aspire, or Night Blooms), but I also really like them combined together in a quilt where you could fussy cut some of the larger elements, like this one.

Please note that all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you want 1 yard, please order a quantity of 2. If you want 2 yards, you will need to order a quantity of 4.
