Sourced state-side, our American Black Camel Hair Coating is certainly exquisite! Soft with a flannel-like feel, this mediumweight wonder is perfect for lightly structured silhouettes of few seams. Realize a multitude of cold-weather friendly ensembles: Bundle up in a clutch or straight coat; grab a warm, fuzzy hug from an oversized coat; keep it classy in a frock or double-breasted coat, and more! Although opaque, lining your garment is highly recommended to help insulate warmth and provide extra comfort. We suggest underlining your garment with cotton voile batiste and incorporating China silk, Bemberg, or another lining fabric for the interior. Whichever you may choose, we recommend finishing off seams with pinking shears and/or zig-zag stitches regardless.
