Windham Artisan Cotton – Mint Light Mint

Artisan Cotton by Another Point of View is a cross-dyed “quilter’s weight” cotton that acts as a solid but has more depth.Goodsaturated colourswork as strong neutrals or on their own as garment fabrics. It’s yarn dyed, so the colours in the name reflect the colours of the warp and weft fibres, giving the fabric a chambre effect – it’s pretty awesome.

I find these just a little bit heavier than most quilting cottons. They absolutely make beautiful quilts, but I would also strongly recommend considering them for garment sewing. They’re just enough weight to make a great dress or tunic, and the colours are so gorgeous.

Spark – Experiment! Try something new in your quilting, or make a pretty tunic for fall (that’s my plan).
